Swimming with a horse is truly one of the most incredible riding adventures you will ever have. We are unaware of any other stable offering this program, and are very proud to offer you an experience that you are not likely to repeat ...until your next visit to Lake Okanagan Riding Stables.

The Ride and Swim can take up to two hours plus. After the practice warm-up session, we make our way along the winding forest trail to the Okanagan Lake. There, our staff will control the horse in the water while you enjoy your cool refreshing swim. We then ride back along a trail to the stables.

Be sure to wear your bathing suit under your clothes and bring a small towel.
